The mission of Lesslie Animal Hospital is to provide the very best veterinary pet care possible, while extending a comforting hand in a calm and compassionate atmosphere. THE VISION We want to be the go to animal hospital in the Rock Hill area. Our goal is to promote animal health by providing vaccinations, emergency care, and world-class service. THE PURPOSE We provide animals with the resources and services to maintain and live a healthy lifestyle. We offer advice and tips about how to care for your pet and will answer any questions you have for us. Here at Lesslie Animal Hospital pets are our purpose. |
Dr. Eric Setzer, DVM & OwnerDr. Eric Setzer graduated from the University of Georgia in 1995 and has been in private practice ever since. He has been the owner and operator of Lesslie Animal Hospital since 1997. Dr. Setzer enjoys attending college football games (Go Cocks!), boating, scouting, and spending time with his wonderful wife and four children. Dr. Setzer truly has a passion for animals and thoroughly enjoys being in constant contact with animals of every kind.

Dr. Luke Dickson, Associate DVMDr. Dickson worked at Lesslie Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant before attending veterinary school at The Ohio State University. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a special interest in internal and emergency medicine. After graduating veterinary school, Dr. Dickson moved back down south with his wife, Carly, and son, Levi.

Carly Dickson is the wife of Dr. Dickson and the daughter of Dr. Setzer. She has worked at Lesslie Animal Hospital for several years and has work as receptionist, veterinary assistant, and now assistant practice manager. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and son, Levi.

Elaine, ReceptionistElaine loves all animals, but her favorite breeds would have to be Staffordshire terriers and bully breeds. She also has a huge heart for reptiles and arachnids. Being from Miami, Elaine prefers tropical places and absolutely loves spending time at the beach! Elaine started working at Lesslie Animal Hospital in 2018.

Iesha, ReceptionistIesha began working at Lesslie Animal Hospital in October of 2021. She was born in Miami, FL, but later raised in York, SC. She loves American pitbulls and exotic bully breeds the most. She owns a bully of her own as well as a deaf pitty. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, her 3 year old daughter and fiancé.

Avery, ReceptionistAvery started working at Lesslie Animal Hospital in April of 2024. In that time she’s loved meeting great people and their fur babies. Her favorite breed is a husky and she has her own named Maya! Her family has pets ranging from cats to horses and she’s been around animals her entire life. In her free time, she loves being with her friends and family.

Maralee, GroomerMaralee got her start in pet grooming when she was only 15 years old and has shown and bred AKC Irish Setters for over 30 years! Being well accomplished in both pet and show grooming (including scissoring), she owned, operated, and taught at “Charlotte Academy of Pet Grooming” from 1993-2005. Maralee began working with Lesslie Animal Hospital in 2015.

Kylee, Veterinary AssistantKylee started at Lesslie Animal Hospital in 2023. She has two cats and one dog and her favorite part of her job is being able to help animals in need. In her free time, she likes to relax and read books.

Lilli, Veterinary AssistantLilli started at Lesslie Animal Hospital in May of 2024 and has loved getting to know the pets and clients personally in that time. She has been around animals of all kinds her entire life, but farm animals and larger dogs are her favorite. In her free time, she loves outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.

Melanie, Kennel TechnicianMelanie joined the LAH team at the beginning of February 2024. She has a beautiful Siberian Husky/ Great Pyrenees mix. Melanie’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is being able to help animals feel better and seeing them go back to their happy normal life. She also loves getting silly pictures of them!
