The mission of Lesslie Animal Hospital is to provide the very best veterinary pet care possible, while extending a comforting hand in a calm and compassionate atmosphere. THE VISION We want to be the go to animal hospital in the Rock Hill area. Our goal is to promote animal health by providing vaccinations, emergency care, and world-class service. THE PURPOSE We provide animals with the resources and services to maintain and live a healthy lifestyle. We offer advice and tips about how to care for your pet and will answer any questions you have for us. Here at Lesslie Animal Hospital pets are our purpose. |
Dr. Eric Setzer, DVM & OwnerDr. Eric Setzer graduated from the University of Georgia in 1995 and has been in private practice ever since. He has been the owner and operator of Lesslie Animal Hospital since 1997. Dr. Setzer enjoys attending college football games (Go Cocks!), boating, scouting, and spending time with his wonderful wife and four children. Dr. Setzer truly has a passion for animals and thoroughly enjoys being in constant contact with animals of every kind.

Elaine, ReceptionistElaine loves all animals, but her favorite breeds would have to be Staffordshire terriers and bully breeds. She also has a huge heart for reptiles and arachnids. Being from Miami, Elaine prefers tropical places and absolutely loves spending time at the beach! Elaine started working at Lesslie Animal Hospital in 2018.

Amanda, ReceptionistAmanda was born in Illinois and raised in Alabama. She moved to South Carolina in 1994. Amanda began working at Lesslie Animal Hospital in June 2021. While she loves all animals, she has a soft spot for German Shepherds and all cats. She has three daughters, one dog and two cats. In her free time she enjoys crafting and making shirts and cups.

Maralee Martin, GroomerMaralee got her start in pet grooming when she was only 15 years old and has shown and bred AKC Irish Setters for over 30 years! Being well accomplished in both pet and show grooming (including scissoring), she owned, operated, and taught at “Charlotte Academy of Pet Grooming” from 1993-2005. Maralee began working with Lesslie Animal Hospital in 2015.

Amanda, Vet TechAmanda began working at Lesslie Animal Hospital in June 2021. Amanda has a degree in Anthropology and enjoy learning about wildlife which included her venture to Madagascar. She has started new initiatives to encourage recycling at our clinic. Amanda is eager to learn and is always looking to interact with every pet that walks through our door.

Mark, Vet TechMark is a biology student who moved from New York to follow his dreams of becoming a veterinarian. He has previously worked at another animal hospital as well as a rescue for wildlife and confiscated exotic pets. He also interned at a zoo, where he was first introduced to Lesslie. At the clinic Mark is an ambitious worker that looks to dive into every opportunity to master his skills and learn more about the veterinary field. He is a huge fan of German Shepherds and is excited to work with them at every opportunity.

Ally, Vet TechAlly is from Hickory Groove, South Carolina. Ally began at Lesslie Animal Hospital as an intern through Piedmont Technical College. Following her internship, she joined the team in May 2022. Ally has six pets at home, including three dog, two cats, and a chinchilla. In her free time, she enjoys
